Welcome to GetSniped! We build services that let you share real moments with your real friends. These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy and Community Standards (the “User Agreement”), explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. If you use our Services, you agree to be bound by the User Agreement.
1) Who can use our Services
Our Services include the GetSniped mobile applications, our website, and the software and systems that power them. You must be a real person, at least 13 years old. If you are 13–17, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian. If you’re creating or operating an account for an organization, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
2) Data protection and privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, when we collect it, and how we handle it. By using the Services, you understand that we need to collect, use, store, process, and transfer information to operate the Services and work with our providers.
3) Content
Be authentic, kind, and respectful. “Content” includes profile photos, photos, captions, comments, guesses, reactions, and messages shared through the Services. You’re responsible for the Content you share, including having the rights to share it and ensuring it complies with laws and the User Agreement.
We may remove Content that violates the User Agreement or the law. We don’t tolerate harassment, intimidation, threats, hateful content, exploitation of minors, sexual abuse, promotion of suicide or self‑harm, intellectual property infringement, or illegal activity. See the Community Standards for details.
License to GetSniped — You retain ownership of your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display, and adapt your Content only as needed to operate and improve the Services.
Visibility — GetSniped does not provide a global public discovery feed at launch. Snipes are visible to friends according to app logic.
4) Reporting violative content
Use in‑app reporting or contact support@getsniped.app. For intellectual property concerns, include the required details so we can evaluate and act.
5) Ending or limiting access
We may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate the User Agreement, create risk, or engage in abnormal activity. Severe violations (e.g., CSAM) may lead to immediate termination and reports to authorities. Inactive accounts may be deleted after an extended period with prior notice. You can delete your account anytime in Settings.
6) License to use our Services
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non‑assignable, non‑exclusive, revocable license to use the software provided as part of the Services. This license exists solely so you can use and enjoy the Services as permitted by the User Agreement.
7) Ownership and IP
The Services, including software, designs, and trademarks, are owned by GetSniped or its licensors. Nothing in the User Agreement grants rights to our name, logos, or other brand features.
8) Third‑party services
We rely on third‑party providers (e.g., Firebase) to deliver parts of the Services. Their terms and policies apply in addition to ours.
9) Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.
10) Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETSNIPED AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS.
11) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetSniped and its personnel from claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your Content, your use of the Services, or your breach of the User Agreement.
12) Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. You and GetSniped agree that all claims and disputes will be litigated exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
13) Changes to the User Agreement
We may update the Terms. If changes materially affect rights or obligations, we’ll provide notice (for example, in‑app) before they take effect when feasible. If you continue using the Services after the effective date, you’re agreeing to the updated Terms.
